    • Develop and deliver business development strategies aligned to company objectives
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
    • Drive revenue growth through targeted outreach, negotiation and closing high‑value deals
    • Research market trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities
    • Represent CitySprint at industry events, conferences and networking events
    • Prepare and present compelling proposals and solutions to senior decision‑makers
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product and wider teams to support growth
    • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, activity and market insights to senior leaders
    • Manage business development projects from initiation to delivery

    What we’re looking for

    • Proven experience winning and developing high‑value B2B/SME business (£150k+ accounts)
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills within logistics or service‑led environments
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long‑term growth plans
    • Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
    • Commercially astute with strong understanding of financial and margin impact
    • Confident presenter, able to engage senior leaders and boards
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
    • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
    • Demonstrated success delivering revenue and margin growth aligned to strategy
