    Inside Sales Executive

    Location: Manchester (office-based)

    Salary: £26,811 – £28,000

    Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

    Contract: Permanent

    The role

    We’re looking for a proactive and target-driven Inside Sales Executive to support growth within the SME market.

    This is an office-based role focused on generating new business, managing an existing customer portfolio, and supporting regional Business Development Executives by securing high-quality appointments. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue, improving customer retention, and delivering excellent service.

    What you’ll do

    • Manage a portfolio of existing customers through regular outbound contact to maximise retention and engagement
    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by analysing customer usage and behaviour
    • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach via telephone, email, and social channels
    • Book qualified appointments for Business Development Executives to support field sales activity
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
    • Work closely with operational teams and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and deliver excellent service
    • Meet and exceed KPIs related to revenue growth, activity levels, and appointment generation

    What we’re looking for

    • Experience in telesales or inside sales, with a focus on revenue generation
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to engage customers, handle objections, and build relationships
    • Confident in upselling and cross-selling to maximise customer value
    • Experience managing customer accounts and reactivating inactive clients
    • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders
    • Proactive, organised, and results-focused approach
    • Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce

    All successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check.
