    The role

This role supports the Head of Bid Management and sits at the heart of our commercial growth strategy. As a Bid & Submissions Manager, you’ll lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, helping to win, retain and grow business through high-quality, compliant and compelling submissions.

    Why CitySprint

What we do matters — from everyday deliveries to time‑critical services — and this role plays a key part in securing new opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships. You’ll directly impact business growth and help shape how we present our services in a competitive market.

    Who we are

CitySprint is a UK‑wide logistics business delivering same‑day and time‑critical services for customers who need things done right, first time. We work at pace, rely on good judgement, and trust our people to take ownership.

We’re also part of DPD and the wider Geopost group, which gives us the backing, scale and stability of a leading international delivery network — while CitySprint remains very much its own business, with a distinct focus and pace.

It’s a busy, fast‑moving role where priorities can change quickly, and you’ll be trusted to stay organised, communicate clearly, and solve problems as they arise.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Managing the full lifecycle of bids from intent to participate through to submission, implementation and handover
    • Producing high-quality, tailored bid responses and executive summaries
    • Ensuring all submissions are fully compliant with client requirements and deadlines
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather content and develop solutions
    • Managing multiple concurrent bids in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintaining bid libraries, templates and document repositories
    • Identifying new business opportunities (e.g. OJEC portals) and supporting responses
    • Tracking bid activity and progress using internal systems (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Developing continuous improvements to bid processes and best practice

    What we’re looking for

    • Strong experience managing bids and tenders in a B2B environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability to produce high-quality, persuasive written content
    • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
    • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
    • Experience in logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is advantageous

All successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check.
