Salary: Upto £38,971 depening on experience 

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

CitySprint has an exicting opportunity for an Application Analyst to support the Courier Business Partner by answering queries and issues raised by email and supporting business applications, incident triage and liaison with 3rd parties, reviewing and supplying relevant information for incident resolution and providing direct courier mobile app support to couriers and colleagues. Ensuring customer Service Levels are maintained and all duties are carried out in line with internal processes.

The main responsibilities within the Application Analyst role are:

• Working closely with Courier Business Partner to ensure our colleague and courier queries are dealt with, within the agreed timeline.
• Ensuring any issues found are logged and escalated where necessary.
• Ensuring documentation is up to date and stored in the correct location.
• Ensuring an Issues resolution document is created and updated with Frequently occurring questions.
• Ensuring device platform is always up to date and devices are swapped in a timely manner.
• Ensuring clear and concise communication with the business teams and colleagues.

Skills needed for an Application Analyst:

• Inquisitive nature who can probe and quickly identify the problem and possible fix.
• Good understanding of the negative impact to the Business of core application issues or deployment resulting in application degradation.
• Ability to maintain good application knowledge in an environment of continual change.
• Experience of Web, Mobile (iOS and Android), Tablet and cross browser Manual Testing.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, BDD, V-model and Waterfall.
• Understanding of UAT, Regression, Functional and System testing.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such a Postman.
• Knowledge of Jira/ Confluence.
• Good knowledge of industry best practice for ITIL and ISO27001
